I am decorating my kitchen with a vintage cottage “forest animals” theme. Think Sleeping Beauty’s cottage in the woods. I want it to have a kitschy, vintagey feel. For example I am collecting a few vintage owl cookie jars…anymore ideas?!

As I have not run across any items that might work for you, perhaps you could create some items.
Photograph some pages from children’s books, enlarge or photo edit them and frame them for your kitchen.
Cut out some animals from the books and decoupage them onto canisters, trivets, etc.
I would definitely check out EBAY, and if you do not have curtain rods use thick tree branches and loop the curtains through that. Also adding bird houses on the the end. Maybe have a mural painted or the “wallies” they sell @ Home Depot or Lowes.
